In Uganda millions of children live in extreme poverty, unable to attend school, exposed to hunger and disease, and often neglected or abused. This can be overwhelming, but your ability to help a child in need may be greater than you think. Most of the people living in poverty are children. Poverty denies children their rights, we believe that every child is valuable, and has a right to a hope and a future. Abuse and exploitation of children is linked to widespread and deeply entrenched poverty. It scars their lives with ill health, malnutrition, and impaired physical & mental development and vulnerability.
