Jordan House

Jordan House is based on three pillars:

Jordan House is a community based initiative, which is addressing many of the needs of Uganda – firstly rescuing vulnerable and Orphan children, with the alarming numbers of Orphans in Sub Sahara Africa today reaching catastrophic figures of around 44 million, we are addressing the crisis one child at a time, Jeremiah 29; 11 states that we all have a future and a hope. For all the children at Jordan House this verse is becoming a reality as they are being given a chance to fulfill their destiny.

The Jordan House concept which integrates and addresses the urgent need of care for Orphaned and Vulnerable children through the children’s home, and also practically impacting the local community bringing lasting change, and finally it is expressed through a local church. These three – Children’s Home, Community Centre, and Church all meshed into one also assist in breaking down barriers for the children in our care – no longer are they in an institution; but are a dynamic and valuable part of a community, interacting and participating through school, community and church.
